Through Rose Colored Glasses (TRCG) offers exclusive, hand crafted arrangements of fresh, ethically sourced flowers. With a unique subscription model, TRCG allows customers to have fresh flowers delivered right to their door on a regular basis.

Our objective was to create a brand from concept through production that exuded the warmth and love put into every floral arrangement.

LOGO DESIGN

We began with creating black and white versions of the logo design, experimenting with options that were more formal vs playful, elegant vs strong. We factored in the personal touch of our client, with handwritten notes being an additional touchpoint, and felt this script paired with an elegant, open serif and tied together with a rose graphic encompassed many of our client’s core values.

Color Palette

It was important that we choose a color palette that aligned with our client’s core values. She takes great care in curating each arrangement to be unique, and her kindhearted approach is a large part of the customer’s experience with her brand. We tested many softer, more muted tones, and she felt the dusty rosy tones and soft greys reflected her personality, as well as her brand.

STYLE GUIDE

After establishing some of the basics such as logo design, color palettes, and typography, we created a Style Guide to serve as a resource document for easy reference. This highlights the rules surrounding logo, color, font, and image/pattern usage to ensure brand consistency.

Website Design

This website is a major component of the business. It consists of information, a blog, and also functions as a shop. Orders may be placed online in a subscription style format or customized orders. We maintained the warmth and approachability of the logo for the website, but also made sure to incorporate plenty of white space and breathing room for the viewer so that the focus is on the flowers themselves.
